同窓会は、より多くの方にご入会いただき、活発に活動いただくことにより活性化されます。大阪大学卒業生や教職員等大阪大学に関係されたどなたでも北米同窓会会員としてご登録いただけます。 北米同窓会は、現在、北米（米国・カナダ）を対象として活動しており、約500名余りが登録（その内約50名が帰国留学生・社会人）しており、事務局（長）は大阪大学北米センター（長）が兼務しています。地区（支部）は、NY地区、ワシントンDC地区，シカゴ地区、LA地区、SF地区の5地区に加え、2013年よりアトランタ地区、トロント（カナダ）地区、シアトル地区の3地区が加わりが、全体で8地区となりました。（北米同窓会の役員体制・各地区の役員についてはこちら から） 各地区では、担当理事・幹事を中心に、和気藹々と各地区同窓会・交流会・講演会や、留学生・若手研究者や企業駐在員らの歓送迎会を企画・開催しています。また、各地区間でも相互に連絡を取り合って活動しており、北米同窓会全体としては、全米年次総会・理事会・講演会・交流会等を実施しています。 2013年7月20日には、ニューヨークにて、IMF独立評価室の高木信二大阪大学名誉教授、加藤友朗コロンビア大学医学部外科学教授を迎えて、「大阪フレンズナイト」と題した特別講演会及び同窓会懇親会ディナーを開催いたしました。これには、本学から平野総長、阿部理事・副学長、竹中法学研究科長が、また、地元ニューヨークを始め、ワシントンD.C、シカゴ、ロサンゼルス等全米各地から、同窓生約40名、全体で100名超の方が参加され、賑やかな会となりました。詳細は大阪大学HP 及び本HPの同窓会イベントページ にも掲載されています。 より多くの同窓生の方に、北米同窓会に会員登録いただき、各地域での行事や総会に参加いただくと共に、阪大北米ネットワークを活用いただければ幸いです。 登録には本ホームページの登録フォームのご利用、または事務局（info[at]osaka-u-sf.org）へご連絡ください。より多くの同窓生の方のご参加をお待ちしております。
